Happy Early Easter

Since conference is Easter weekend and we get to stay in our pjs to watch it, Ryleigh got to wear her Easter dress to church today.

Neighborhood Watch

Lizzie has been the neighborhood watch dog ever since we brought her home from the pound. When she sees something out the front window she runs to every other window to see if she can get a better look. Little Miss has started following in her footsteps. However, Ryleigh is still a little bit too short to see out. She tries every day to see if she is tall enough yet. She even tries to see out the bedroom windows that are much taller than the living room one.

Too Hot??

Devin went to check to see if Ryleigh was taking her nap this afternoon and this is what he found. She obviously didn't fall right to sleep when we put her down.

She hasn't tried to remove an article of clothing before.

Ryleigh's First Swim

Our friends came to town last weekend and stayed in a hotel so we got to go swimming in the pool. Ryleigh had never been swimming before. She absolutely loved it. The second we put her in she started paddling her arms and kicking her legs. She didn't stop until we took her out. I think we have a fish on our hands. Look out Georgia and Florida, here we come this summer.
Ready to go! I think she knew what the swim suit meant. Look at how excited she is.
Taking the plunge
Still going strong

Not Too Sleepy After All

Ryleigh was pretty grouchy and crabby after bringing her home from Auntie's today so I thought she needed a nap. I put her in her crib and she hollered for about 30 seconds and then I hear her playing around and laughing immediately after. I gave it about 5 minutes and decided she wasn't too sleepy after all. This is what she was doing when I went to get her.

Thank goodness for the bumpers in her crib. Iguess she pretended to be tired so I would put her in her crib so she could play. She might be a rough one.

A Day with Dad

A few weeks ago Ryleigh started pushing herself to standing. This last week she started pulling herself to standing up using anything she can. Devin gets to stay home with Ryleigh on Mondays and he absolutely loves it. He got a picture of her today pushing her stroller which she has only done one other time. Of course it was when he was home with her Thursday morning. I tried to get her to do it all weekend and was not successful. I get to work this morning and Devin text me a picture of her doing it again. So not fair.

He was also able to get this picture that we have been trying to get for a few months now. She loves to suck her thumb and hold her blanket when she is tired and going to bed. Every time we have tried to take the picture she stops doing it. It is so stink'n cute. I love it.
