Ryleigh's Recital

Ryleigh has been part of a singing class this fall.  They had a little Christmas recital last weekend.  Ryleigh was excited that her Grandma Larsen got to come and watch.

Ryleigh's Grandma bought her flowers and gave them to her after.

Merry Christmas!

After multiple shots, this was the best we got.

"It's Christmas Time"

We bought, set up and decorated our Christmas tree yesterday evening.  Along with putting up all of the other Christmas decorations.  Ryleigh informed we a couple of days ago that it is Christmas time.

I flipped these pictures on my computer but they uploaded as if I didn't.  I can't figure out how to fix it.  Anyone know?  Help!

Disney on Ice

Ryleigh and I waited 2 months for this show to happen.  It was such an awesome experience.  They did Princess and the Frog, Cinderella and Tangled.  We went with my sister-in-law and niece.  10 minutes into the show, Ryleigh said, "I've got to tell Bailey about this!"  Before the show was over, Ryleigh asked if we could come back.  It was so fun to watch how into it Ryleigh and Madison were.

I got a new camera for Christmas and Devin couldn't keep a secret so I got it early!  Just in time for this.  I took a ton of pictures and this isn't even half of them.

Ryleigh kept asking me why Cinderella's dress got ripped.  I kept telling her it was her mean step sisters.  Finally I asked her why the dress got ripped and she gave the same answer I kept giving her and she didn't ask again.

The mice were stinking cute

Loved the carriage

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy introduced each story.  Every time they left the ice, Ryleigh asked where they went and when they would be back.  She was also concerned why Daisy didn't come.

Yep, there were two people inside

At the end, Minnie and Mickey came out dressed in white and gold followed by most of the princesses and their prince.

Ryleigh and I can't wait for Disney to come back to Boise.

Temple Square Lights

We were down at Devin's sister's house in Lehi for Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful time and as we headed back up to his parents' house, we decided to stop and see the lights.  It was the first night they were on so it was pretty busy.

A Visit with the Clauses

We went to the downtown tree lighting and they always have Santa and the Mrs. for the kids to visit with.  Ryleigh has never sat on Santa's lap.  When we were standing in line, she decided she would sit on Mrs. Clause and Bailey could sit on Santa.  By golly, it happened!

Ryleigh asked, and has been asking for months now, for a camera and a clock.  Not sure where the clock obsession came from.

They also have a little train for the little ones.

We still need to go back, when there isn't so many people, and get pictures of the awesome job they do with the lights down there.
