Bye, Bye Curls

I finally bought some clippers to get rid of Bentley's fly away curls.  They were getting out of control.  Before I started Devin asked if I knew what I was doing.  I responded with something along the lines of, all I know is you move up the back of his head with the clippers like this. He responded with, "Maybe you should watch a YouTube or something first."  I was pretty confident I could handle it.

See the curls around his ears?  If he went to bed with wet hair, it was pretty wild when he woke up.

He loved it!
He sat there very still watching the girls watch him.

This kind of looks like he is crying but he was actually laughing.
Notice the curls above his right ear?

Ta da!

I couldn't believe how much hair he actually had on his head.  We had a pretty big pile when we finished.

Look at our big, handsome boy after the bath.

Ryleigh's 6th Birthday

My oldest is 6!  We got to have her birthday party on her birthday because it fell on a Saturday.  We invited some of her friends to come celebrate.  What 6 year old doesn't want a Frozen themed birthday party.

She invited her guests to wear their Frozen dress up clothes.

They played two of Ryleigh's new Frozen games

The girls made Elsa crowns and the boys made Sven antlers.

After her birthday party she chose Arctic Circle for dinner.  Then we came home and opened family presents.
She was so excited to get the "American Girl Doll" she had been asking for.  However, her mom and dad didn't feel the need to spend the money on the real deal so she got the Target brand.

We love our Muffet to pieces!  We love the little lady she is becoming.  She is such a joy to be with.  She loves to help out with her sister and brother, most of the time.  She is our outdoors kid.  She has done such a great job in kindergarten.
