She wouldn't swallow it but she wouldn't spit it out either. She let it sit in the front of her mouth with it wide open and soon the saliva had pooled up enough that the cereal just ran down her chin. It was pretty entertaining. This morning we had success. She loves it and chowed it right down.

Oh man that moment always makes for some good laughs and great photos...Blake STILL does that, you're in for a LONG road! :) I don't understand, if they don't like it, swallow it already to get it out of your mouth...Blake has been known to "chew" a BITE of applesauce for 30 minutes. He doesn't understand they chew it FOR you BEFORE they bottle it. Good luck with the food thing, hopefully you guys have a better go of it with Ryleigh than we STILL do with Blake.
PS- I'm still not believing you that she doesn't have a mohawk...again another picture of proof. :) Is it just longer in the middle on top? Maybe it's time for her first haircutt. :)
She does NOT have a mo-hawk. These last few pictures have been taken right before bed after she rubbed her hair all day and the hair bow has come out. It is thicker and a little longer on top but when it is brushed it looks much less like a mo-hawk. I will post a mid day photo tomorrow to show you.
I remember those days. Mariah was halarious when she first started solids! I can't believe how much she looks like Devin! And I'm going to have to agree with Nicole. Totally looks like a mo hawk! :)
