4th of July

We headed to Utah for the weekend to attend the Wallace Larsen family reunion.  We started the weekend with a date night to Real Salt Lake while Grandma and Grandpa Larsen watched the kids.

They had fireworks after the game so we went out on the field for the spectacular show.

On the 4th we started the day in Willard at the celebration at the park that Devin would go to when he was growing up.

Both of the girls participated in the foot races, but Bentley refused.

Then we went back to Grandma's and Kya had fun facepainting

That evening we went to the park for the reunion BBQ then headed back to Grandma's for some of our own fireworks.

Spring Dance Recital

Ryleigh gave dance a try this spring and loved it.  A friend from our ward holds a dance class in her house so it is super convenient.

Ready for her recital.

Camping Memorial Weekend

We love camping Memorial Day weekend.  This time we camped at Hot Springs campground in Garden Valley.
Everyone fought over Dad's comfy chair the whole weekend.

The girls love to help with dishes while camping.

Lunch time!

Feeding Daddy a snack

Making popcorn on the stove.

Playing football

and games

They rode bikes down this hill over and over again.

2 Happy Birthdays!

Bentley shares a birthday with Grandpa McDowell so we headed to Pocatello to celebrate these awesome guys.
I made a Thomas the Train cake.

Blowing out the candle

Bentley was super fun opening his presents.  He was excited about every single one.

Grandma and Grandpa got him a race track.

And Grandpa was just as excited about all of his gifts.

Bentley got Thomas bubbles that we had to try out right away.

Thanks for letting us come celebrate with you, Grandpa!

Ryleigh's Birthday Party

We had Ryleigh's party Friday evening.  I can't believe she is going to be 7 on Monday.  I think this is the biggest jump in age we have experienced., 7 is old!  She invited 3 little friends from school and a friend from church.  I think they had a great time and were worn out by the end.

We started with a canvas painting project.

Finished products

We played some fun games.

Cake and ice cream

Opening presents

They also had a blast jumping in the bounce house but I forgot to get pictures of them.

Happy 5th Birthday, Bailey!

Bailey turned 5 on Wednesday.  The babysitter had a happy birthday sign hanging up with balloons when I dropped her off in the morning and then we sang "Happy Birthday" and she blew out some candles on cupcakes when we picked her up.  Jamie is so good to my children.  We love her!

Then we did dinner, Bailey picked Arctic Circle and we opened some fun gifts.

Pillow pet from Uncle Travis' family

A necklace with a "B" on it from Mom and Dad.

A monkey purse from Grandpa and Grandma Larsen.

The Good Dinosaur from Grandpa and Grandma McDowell.

A dress from Hawaii from Aunt Nicole's family.

Rainbow Dash from Ryleigh.

A doll from Mom and Dad.

And this is how Bentley felt about not being able to open any presents or play with any of them.

We had her birthday party on Friday evening.  She wanted a rainbow butterfly cake this year so I made a butterfly out of cupcakes.

Which meant everything had to be butterfly themed.

Blowing our her candle.

All the kids enjoying the cupcakes.

And they had fun making butterflies to take home.

Happy Birthday, Bailey!  We love you!
