Disney on Ice "Rockin' Ever After"

We were so excited to hear that Disney on Ice was coming to Boise again.  This time I decided Bailey would probably love it so she got to come along.  We LOVED it!

We went with my sister-in-law and her 2 oldest kids, Madison and Zach.

Bailey was so stinkin' excited when Mickey and Minnie came out to start the show.

She was just as excited when Goofy and Donald came out a few minutes later.

The Little Mermaid was my favorite because of all of the special effects that didn't show up in the pictures.

Rapunzel was in the show we saw last year but I was excited to see that they didn't do it exactly the same.

During intermission Madison had to use the restroom so I took her so that I could take Bailey too.  The line was huge as you can imagine.  We were still standing in line when they started the show again.  Madison started freaking out that they were going to do Brave next and she didn't want to miss it because it was her favorite.  It was pretty funny to watch.  Sure enough, Brave was up next so we missed the first few minutes of it.

Ryleigh liked this one the best.

The last one was Beauty and the Beast.

At the end, they all came back out for the finale.

We can't wait to see what comes next year!

Seattle Trip

We have been planning this trip since April and were so excited when it finally came!  Thankfully the game happened before Aunt Tammy moved.  We were able to stay with her in Bremerton.  Uncle Travis hitched a ride with us and Aunt Nicole's family came in on Friday.  We missed Aunt Tana and Uncle Nathan though.

Friday we took the ferry into Seattle.  The kids loved it!

Ryleigh looked out the window pretty much the whole time.  She saw a buoy and asked why there was a man walking on the water.

Bailey found a cozy spot on the window ledge.

The kids were excited to put money in the giant piggy bank.  Uncle waiting to jump on the pig

so he could get his picture taken

We found the gum wall.  This was taken right after I told them not to touch anything.

Down on the waterfront

Look at those cute cousins!

Saturday Aunt Tammy and Jeremy were kind enough to watch the kids while the rest of us hopped on the ferry again and headed to Husky Stadium for the Duck game.  Thanks guys!

The stadium sits right by the lake.

Ready for kickoff!

Final score!  Way to go Ducks!  Way better outcome then last week's games we attended.

Thanks again Aunt Tammy for letting us crash at your house.  Can't wait to see you guys again in a few weeks!

Utah Trip

Devin took the girls down to Utah a couple of weeks ago on Tuesday so he could go to the US Open Cup Championship Game Real Salt Lake was playing in.  I met them down there Thursday afternoon for a long weekend.  We went to the Utah State vs. BYU game.

Let's just say it was not a good week for sports.  Both games were lost by our team but we had a good time none the less.  Real lost to the worst team of all time and Aggies quarterback went down in the first quarter with a torn ACL and MCL.

Grandpa opened up his container of mixed nuts and the girls jumped right up and helped him eat them.

Bike Ride

We took another bike ride yesterday and I remembered to take pictures.  We rode to a park and had fun playing on the toys.

Bailey's helmet is too big but we can't find a smaller one.  When she wears it in the trailer her head is against the back and it makes the helmet slide over her eyes.

They love riding in the trailer.

Pre-Kindergarten

Today was Ryleigh's first day of school.  She has been talking about going to school ever since she could talk.  The magic age was always 5.  So you can imagine how excited she was when we signed her up and told her she got to go to school this year only being 4.  She was a little disappointed that a bus doesn't go to her school.  She really wants to ride the bus.

I can't believe how fast they grow up.

Bailey had to have her new backpack on too.

Thanks Auntie Ann for being so willing to take Ryleigh to pre-k this year.
The little girls had to bring their backpacks along too.

Waiting to go inside

Hanging up her backpack on her hook.  She has the same hook as her friend from church that is in the morning class.

Labor Day Weekend

We took another camping trip this weekend.  We had fun riding our new bikes, that I still haven't got a picture of, playing in the river, enjoying the hot springs one morning and s'mores at night.

The girls always have fun riding their bikes around camp.

Warming up by the fire.

Bailey spent her river time throwing rocks.

Lizzie had a blast cooling off in the river.

We even got her to swim.  She only did it a few times and then would get herself stuck on rocks because she was too afraid to swim again.

And of course, Ryleigh found some kids to play with.  They were trying to catch the little fish that were every where.  Dad couldn't even catch them.

One more camping trip next weekend with Devin's work and then we are done for the season.
