Temple Square Lights

We were down at Devin's sister's house in Lehi for Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful time and as we headed back up to his parents' house, we decided to stop and see the lights.  It was the first night they were on so it was pretty busy.

A Visit with the Clauses

We went to the downtown tree lighting and they always have Santa and the Mrs. for the kids to visit with.  Ryleigh has never sat on Santa's lap.  When we were standing in line, she decided she would sit on Mrs. Clause and Bailey could sit on Santa.  By golly, it happened!

Ryleigh asked, and has been asking for months now, for a camera and a clock.  Not sure where the clock obsession came from.

They also have a little train for the little ones.

We still need to go back, when there isn't so many people, and get pictures of the awesome job they do with the lights down there.

Photo Shoot Number 2

We tried at the beginning of the month to get an updated picture of the girls but didn't do so well.  I decided to give it a shot again tonight.  I am happy to report that we got a few decent pictures.

Trick or Treating

We went Trick or Treating with our friends around their neighborhood.  Both of our husbands were working so Heather and I decided to go together.

Adelyn and Ryleigh had so much fun going together.

Thankfully we had perfect weather for it or Ryleigh would have been pretty cold.

and they're off

Bailey's short little legs didn't keep up with the rest of the bunch too well.

Pumpkins Carved

We finally had time to carve our pumpkins we got from the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.  Ryleigh helped me find a pattern online and of course, it was Dora.  She was asking Devin what he wanted to carve out of his.  He told her to pick.  She picked Swiper the Fox since she had just seen it where I found the Dora one.

She opted to paint hers again this year but sat with us the whole time we carved ours.

She even helped gut mine. Maybe next year she will want to carve hers.

Bailey was pretty excited to see the Dora pumpkin when she woke up.

Trunk or Treat

Angelina Ballerina

We had our ward trunk or treat last night.  I finished the last part of Ryleigh's costume Thursday evening so I had her try it all on.  She was so excited, dancing around the house saying, "Look Mom, my tail is moving with me!" "Mom, Angelina does this," as she is doing some dance move.  She wouldn't take it off until bedtime.

Bailey wasn't really into hers the time I tried it on her.  When she saw Ryleigh dancing around in hers, she wanted hers on.  She was a lot more excited about it and was dancing right along with Ryleigh.

All day Friday, they were playing trick or treat with their buckets gearing up for last night.  Bailey knew exactly what to do and was not patient waiting in line.  She pushed her way up to each trunk and held her bucket right up there until they put candy in it.  Occasionally, she would even say trick or treat.  Towards the end, she was dragging her bucket but still had enough energy to lift it up upon arrival of a trunk.

Boise Temple Open House

Last weekend my sister and her kids came to visit and we all headed to the temple open house.  It is so beautiful!  It was neat to see the kids' reaction as we were walking through.

The kids enjoyed the bus ride to and from the temple.  They were so excited to sit all the way in the back.
