8 Months Pregnant

My family has been asking for a picture of my prego belly.
Well, here it is in all its glory. The long awaited picture.

Field Trip

We took our 4th graders to visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive
Center in Baker City, OR for our field trip this year. By the
brochure they sent us, I thought they were going to have more
hands on activities for the kids. But nonetheless, we had a good time.

It was way too windy and cold to walk the trail to see
the original wagon ruts. This is all the further we made it.
The first thing to see along the trail was an original wagon
they used that was built in 1880.

IT"S A GIRL!!

We found out on Thursday that we are having a girl. We are so excited and already have ideas picked out for the nursery. We are going to decorate in pink and brown ladybugs. We also have a name picked out, Ryleigh Jayne.

First Snowfall that Stuck

We woke up to snow on the ground this morning. We weren't sure how Lizzie was going to do with it since she freaked out about the first time she experienced rain. She was a little nervous to go out at first. When she did she just wanted to eat it all up. We couldn't get her back inside. When we did, she was sitting at the door ready to go out for some more.

At one point she sat down and started shivering but refused to come inside.

No, that is not a white beard and mustache she grew, it is just snow.

She also enjoyed running laps in it.

Lizzie, Smart??

So we left Lizzie with our friends while we were in Denver. She loves to go over there and play with their dog Maggie. Morgan texted us before we got back and warned us of two owies on her face. We picked her up and they told us the story. Maggie and Lizzie were playing outside and Morgan heard a bang and then a yelp out of Lizzie. She thinks Lizzie ran into the concrete wall. So I guess Lizzie is not as smart as we thought she was. I hope her hair grows back after the scabs go away because she looks pretty silly.

GO BRONCOS!!!

We attended our first Denver Bronco game last Sunday.
Lucky for us it was nearly 60*. We had a blast and yes,
they did beat Kansas City.

The pregame show.

So we didn't have the best seats in the house but
this picture doesn't do them justice. We were able
to see the ball during each play.

If you notice, behind us is a wall. Yep, we were
at the very top of the stadium. Nobody was behind us.

ROCK BAND

While we were visiting Tana and Nathan they
busted out Rock Band. We had a lot of fun playing it.
